This project aims to design, build, and fly model aircraft to understand general and specific
aeronautical concepts, serving as a foundation for future, more in-depth research in this field.
Currently, prototypes are being designed and constructed, experimenting with various aerodynamic
configurations, diverse manufacturing methods, and exploring autonomous flight systems. Additionally, telemetry is used to monitor the aircraft's performance and validate data.
Below, you can view some of our models.
Project objectives
- Forecast and simulate the aircraft's performance, considering the effects of its design during flight.
- Explore manufacturing techniques, implement them in designs, and refine their application.
- Develop aircraft design methods to streamline the conceptual process, taking into account the constraints and requirements of each mission.
- Generate research in aeronautics and its applications across different industries.

This project aims to streamline the location and collection of ripe fruits, plant inspections,
pest detection, and identification of different types of fruits, with a primary focus on coffee plants.
Currently, the team is reviewing previous research on this type of drone in the sector and comparing
options for future development of the research. Additionally, a commercially available drone will be used for analysis and reverse engineering of its components, practicing flights, and performing various trajectories in green areas to store multimedia files for later analysis.
Project objectives
- Design a highly efficient aerodynamic drone equipped with advanced avionics technology, focusing on AI implementation.
- Improve agricultural practices in Colombia through plant analysis in the precision agriculture sector.
