The Icarus Aeronautical Research Line is a branch of the Voyager Research Group that delves into projects related to aeronautics, such as aircraft and drone design, capability estimation and verification, construction and manufacturing using innovative methods and materials, and flight testing of each aircraft or drone.

Icarus was officially established in March 2023 due to the strong interest of research group members in the aeronautical sector and design, construction, and flight competitions at both national and international levels. The aim is to learn and improve techniques and methods from an engineering perspective to achieve optimal systems integration. Currently, Icarus has 45 members and has participated in national competitions such as the Zagi AESS Race, obtaining first place in the professional category, and international ones like the AIAA's Design, Build & Fly, ranking in their first participation 21st out of 107 prestigious universities worldwide.
